Super Street Fighter IV Theme of Hakan Remix

To coincide with the release of the computer game super street fighter IV OC Remix have released a psytrance remix of "Theme of Hakan" from the game. Remixed by Zircon a.k.a. Andrew Aversa, the remix is entitled "Time to Oil Up" in homage to the characters roots as a Turkish wrestler.

Zircon says his inspiration for the remix of the track after hearing OST version on youtube, a few times, over which period he was also listening to a lot of Infected Mushroom, and struck on the idea of adding a psytrance beat to Hakan's theme. "Time to Oil Up" took zircon three days to produce and he says: "It was the most fun I've ever had making music" & says that "time to Oil Up" (is) " Completely over the top psytrance...(I) Imagined the drum breakdown at 2.25 to be Hakan or one of his fans playing his giant wooden barrel of oil.

The vocals on the track are supplied by Zircon's wife, Jillian Aversa www.jillianaversa.com, and were written by Zircon on a synth which Jillian then sang to.
