Mantras

Mantras Started in the Vedic denomination, a pre- cursor of Hinduism. And later became a Part of Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism as well as an essential part of Hinduism. The word "mantra" comes from the Sanskrit word Mantram which means mind protection - manas (mind) and tram (protection).

A manta is a sound, as sound reverberates through everything in the Universe, that’s is believed to create transformation, and can be internalized in five stages - through writing, Speaking , whispering, thinking and inner repetition. It is believed that all areas of the Cosmos can be influenced through Mantras.

The most famous Mantras is "Om." OM is the universe, The past, present and the future, all that was, all that is, all that will be is OM. Likewise all else that may exist beyond the bounds of time is also OM." Om. According to ancient Indian belief was the sound which reverberated when the universe came into existence.
