Brahmavidya

Brahma Vidya is known as the king of all adyatmic Vidyas (Spiritual Practices). It is the most direct and natural way to liberation. Brahma vidya is basically the meditation on the nature of Brahman. Brahman is the name of the all pervading, indivisible supreme consciousness which is ofcourse formless.

Brahman is another name of God. Brahman is omnipotent and capable of dividing in to many forms and manifesting as universe.

This Creation is similar to a dream of a person in which his own single indivisible mind divide in to places and people and becomes many. In this case the dreamer sees objects in dream as different from him although it is the same mind which is manifesting as the dream and the dreamer.

Like this the brahman although not different from its creations divides in to individual egos and imagine itself as individual bodies. This imagination of division is known as maya or the illusion.

It is this illusion which is the route cause of all sufferings. Destruction of this ego is known as liberation. The illusion is nothing but the wrong knowledge of our true form which is like a virus program within individual soul. This program can be deleted with the knowledge of true nature of Brahman. This program is called Brahma Vidya.
