Crop Circles

A crop circle is a pattern crated by flattening certain crops,in a field, whilst leaving other crops around the flattened crops in tact The earliest documented crop circle dates back to the 1500's. Crop circles are believed to be created by paranormal phenomena such as U.F.O's. Many crop circles appear near ancient worship sites, such as Stonehenge, and it is believed that their formation is related to Ley Lines - lines which are said to align historic places of geographic interest to one another.

Crop circles also give off an energy that can be found by Dowsing, although some crop circles have been well documented hoaxes.

Between 1999 and 2000 Colin Andrews a British researcher conducted studies into the crop circle phenomenon and concluded that 80% of crop circles were man made, but could not explain the remaining 20%, although the criteria Andrews used for assessing has been disputed by the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, who also sighted the fact that Andrews conducted his Study of crop circles in Britain, where crop circle hoaxing is most previlant, as reasons to dispute Andrews studies.
