Blue Void

Blue Void is the name of a musical project created by a teenage musician from southern Poland. He is fusioning ambient, psybient, psytrance, downtempo, IDM, some glitch elements, rich sound textures and a lot of experiments to create his own musical world.

He had many contacts with various music genres as a child - he mostly listened to Pink Floyd and U2. As a 7-year-old he bought a computer magazine with a music program, and the addiction started.

He made a lot of songs with different programs, but he never shared them. In early 2008, he discovered FL Studio. He learned everything without any tutorials and started to make some music. Firstly, it wasn't anything stunning or even good, but after some months he get used to it and he progressed. After learning the basics, he decided to upload some music as Mr Hurricane on last.fm for free download - he released two albums in that form.

In 2010, he fell in love with psybient and psychill genres - he massively started to listen to Shpongle, Younger Brother, Bluetech, Entheogenic, Shulman, Ott, etc. The artist was heavily influenced and created his own musical genre. His songs contain various elements of psybient, psytrance, IDM and, more recently, dubstep. In January 2011, he changed his artistic pseudonym to Blue Void.

Blue Void is personally listening to many kinds of music - starting with many rock subgenres, into progressive metal, hip-hop, downtempo, IDM, ambient and psybient, some kinds of trance, ending with noise and industrial music.
