Fingerprint is Jan Erik Rřd (b. 1982) from Norway. I started making music back in 1996 when I discovered Fasttracker 2 and got involved in the whole tracker scene. Spent a lot of time with it making all kinds of music from happy hardcore to drum & bass.
Heard my first goa trance track in 1997 and got hooked. Went on to release a psytrance track, "Levitation" under the guise Homegrown Lifeform on Sphere Records' "Obris 2" compilation. Since then I've been focusing more on the slower side of things making dub/chillout.
Track "Spacewater" featured Chris Barker of Umberloid on bass guitar.
